Unfortunately I had to sit this one out, given the time commitment necessary.

That's the kind of thing that always makes me wish getting the good bits in Eve didn't require first having played the game for several years and being able to regularly commit hours at a throw.

That looks like it would have been very cool to have took part in. There are many times I wish I was still playing but I have so little time,  I couldn't justify the cost.

So what faction would you have been fighting aside?

Our alliance is in the CFC, so the winning side of that battle. That was TEST's last stand in the Fountain region.

The cool thing about the CFC, is that they measure your worth based on participation, not your skills. The Goons, who are the leaders of the CFC, made their bones by sending swarms of new players at more established alliances, and just burying them with the numerical disadvantage. I had almost no PvP skills when I joined my current corp, and still found a role in our fleets.
